for the inhabitants,

as concise as the no of the one who says no.
There are doors that close,
there are doors that are welded
from above and from below
from inside and from outside,
they are made of iron or wood
as you prefer.
But it's in your hand the picklock
that can end this madness
of feeling like prisoners
in a world where fear
lets doors grow
like cabbages in the garden
clumsy and blind...

if you want it opens by itself.
