Monday again
Over the city
The people you see
Live in loneliness

Over the gray forest
I see the sun die
That tomorrow will be born on the avenue

Streets without color
Dressed in gray
From my window
I see the green tapestry

Of a square that
Tomorrow will die
And dead green only iron will grow

Old women on the corner beg for their bread
In the offices, death in society
All old today, without knowing how to look
At the dreadful laughter of the pale city

Monday again
Over the city
The people you see

Monday is the sad and gray day of loneliness
