I know that maybe I won't stay forever
But if I disappear, look for me in the sky

My body fails, but my dream doesn't fall
I'm racing against time, but it never leaves
And when night falls, I try not to think
In fear of a tomorrow that could erase me

I'll leave you my lights, kept safe in my hand
Even if I turn into mist within the darkness
If one day I become silence in your path
Promise you won't walk alone

If the night takes me away
Remember when I tried to stay
Even when the world seemed to let me go
I still wanted to go with you

If I disappear when the Sun touches the sea
Promise me that my name will not be erased
Even if I turn to dust in your eyes
I will be heaven in your final awakening

If my voice fades and the wind calls you
Promise you'll still look for me
Because I swear, I'll try to come back
In your final awakening

I feel every part of me falling apart
But your embrace makes time slow down
I don't want you to cry when I don't come back
My light is still there, it's just moved

And even if life wants to separate us
I leave my smile lingering in your air
If I become a memory at the end of these days
I give you the rest of my poetry
