Whoever believed
In love, in smiles, and in flowers
Then dreamed, dreamed...
And lost their peace
Love, smiles, and flowers
Change way too fast

Who
In their heart
Harbored the sadness of seeing
All of this slip away
And in loneliness
Sought a path and followed it
Already doubtful of a happy day

Who cried, cried
So much that their tears have dried up
Who later returned
To love, to smiles, and to flowers
Then found everything again

And the very pain
Revealed the path to love
And the sadness ended
