In the evening my mother used to sing to us when I was a child
The story of a lost ship and a white bird
One day the ship sails straight towards the ocean
And alone, with a heart full of love, a girl waits
The sailor told her: Don't forget I love you
Through winter and spring she waits all the same
She sees a white bird land near her
Carrying a few words in the hollow of its wing
