Have you seen how well I've spoken, what a well-crafted speech.
Such clear and firm principles, worthy of a sensible man.
But, a warning for sailors:
Listen to me on odd days, and on even days,
Act as if you hear the wind whistling on the beach.

You seem sincere when you tell me, attractive among attractives,
And that you love deep down my imperfections.
But, coming from a cabin boy, I believe you on even days.
That on odd days, under the pines, you only sing lullabies
