Una Carta
Los Terricolas
A Letter
Oh, Néstor's letter
What will it tell me
Remembered Lennis
Thinking about a thousand things perhaps
Far from my friends
With the smoke as a witness
I started writing this letter
My dear, forgive me
If I offend you by writing
But I feel very sad
For what happened last night
But I'm not sorry
And if you are
You shouldn't cry anymore
You have to be brave
In case God sends you a child
For the greatest thing I demand
That you don't give him my name
So that he won't be
Like me
May he never taste liquor
May he never suffer a sorrow
And may he never fall in love
With other men's women
May he never feel resentment
That runs through my veins
Because it's sad to endure
This terrible sentence
