The fingers of dawn brushed the sky
And in a green scream, the field exploded

The ripe fruit, peasant gem
Adorned the foliage and the sunrise

Wild perfume, chirps, and bleats
Ignite in the chest the flower of love

Rugged spring explosion of life
Like a folk dance in the heart

A little shepherd sings, herding the evening
Cowbells cradle the Sun's dream

A handful of stars play in the dam
They have watered the courtyard, there's a party, achalay!

Violin and drum, little girl and alhoja
My soul up to the star, there I go to climb
