I go with my guitar
Looking for the sounds
Of the magical place
Where I was born

The song of the crickets
Among the bushes
And a goat bleating
In the pens

I hear the charatas' wings
Releasing their bugle call
When the dawn is seen
Advancing

With songs and whispers
I will make a symphony
To calm this pain
Of my soul

A bull comes mooing
Showing its bravery
A wild horse neighs
At the dam

Turtle dove lullabies
Sacha puma's roar
Crespin's lament
In the thicket

The forest is a concert
Of chirps and roars
Memories of yesterday
That I never forget
