I was invited and I tried
to get to know other places,

and I swear I was tempted.

I left my Corrientes
thinking of changing my life,

want to go back there again.

Bella Vista, Asti, Salada,
Mercedes, Berón de Astrada,
Itatí, General Paz.

When I start to remember
I dream of going back there,
I was born in Taragüi
and no one will make me change.

by the Santa Lucía river,
