Like the Fish
How the sand smells
when everything is wet
I fill myself with airs of greatness
when it rains in the city
Hundreds of aromas
that mix in the earth
pass buzzing
with the breeze that reaches us.
When everything is wet
if the rain tightens
I sneak onto the rooftops to see
how the water is forming
those rivers of fine thread
and the sidewalks are guiding to be
like the fish, like the fish...
Like the fish
that has already reached the top
ignoring that
it has to make more than one way back
that makes it see
that moments pass like rain
in the evening.
Rare is the time
that something makes me feel so good
and inspires me to be
the child inside me
I search in the air
the moments I have lived
I pass by
like when I was a child.
