Forget me,
this zamba asks you.
My heart asks you
to not forget me,

Let the memory fall
like a fruit by its weight.
I know well that there is no forgetting
that can overcome your kisses.
I say that time erases
the trace of a gaze,
my zamba says: there is no trace
