in a pile of worn-out words.

One of these days I must seriously consider
quitting smoking,
with that cough that hits me when I wake up...

I searched, looking at the sky, for inspiration
and got 'stuck' in the heights.
By the way, the ceiling could really use
a fresh coat of paint.

I looked out the window and ran away
with a girl riding a bicycle.
I was distracted by a neighbor who also
was just scratching his head.

Nothing pleases me more than making songs,
but today the muses have abandoned me.
They must be on vacation...
