With the queen hidden up my sleeve
The world called me to play
Victim of such cleverness
I put my life on the line and decided to play

I bet on the risk
Paid up and didn’t see
I died on the shore
And besides dying, I suffered

I called the queen of the deck
Made her my shortcut
And my lover card

I didn’t even care
