Towards the evening when you're feeling tired,
and you don't know what to do and you stay fixed,
and you feel very alone, and the noise fades away,
and you look at the street and there aren't many people around.

And the sounds change and everything seems more dead,
and you want to shout out loud, that you've had enough.
Towards the evening you're sad and don't know where to go,
and you pour yourself a whiskey and can't finish it.

And you light a cigarette, without wanting to smoke,
and you put it out soon and get up again,
and suddenly you're afraid, of feeling so empty,
and you head to the pub and find no one there.

You go out on the street, and start running,
and the wind dries you, what seems like a tear,
and you stop tired, with your nose full of snot,
and you fill yourself with night and breathe deeply, deeply, deeply.
