I Believed

I believed I knew everything about love
But in the midst of love, I am lost
I've had successes and a few mistakes

And in matters of love, I have understood
That loving doesn't mean obsessing
To the point of forgetting even myself. no

I must learn that one should not idealize
A human being who can make mistakes
That nothing is asked in return
That I am not the owner of their actions
And if they leave, I must understand that our cycle has ended.

I must accept that yesterday you loved me and now you don't
That what had to work, worked
That you can't give me anything anymore
That you are no longer in love
That everything changes and ends

And although I believed I knew everything about love, today I was wrong
The throne of Mexico

I believed I knew everything about love
But in this love, there is nothing written
I've had successes and a few mistakes
And in matters of love, I have understood
That loving doesn't mean obsessing
To the point of forgetting even myself. no

I must learn that one should not idealize
A human being who can make mistakes
That nothing is asked in return
That I am not the owner of their actions
And if they leave, I must understand that our cycle has ended

I must accept that yesterday you loved me and now you don't
That what had to work, worked
That you can't give me anything anymore
That you are no longer in love
That everything changes and ends.
