Navidad

Little bells, ringing away
Christmas, joyfully singing
and to me come sweet memories
of the blessed home where I grew up
and that old lady I adored so much:
my dear mother whom I will never forget.

Christmas, with sweet singing
celebrated by souls
that know how to love;
oh how sad it is to walk in life
on a lost path
far from home
without hearing a loving voice
saying affectionately:
Christmas has arrived.
