Barking at the dogs
And a snort and a curse

The oxen in the cart
And the carter cracking his whip
The dawn then appears

And over the hill, a bright star
And in a genuine commotion
The playful ox goes out to the field
And the frisky horse
That hits from branch to branch
By that high-bed cowboy
And saddles his wild horse
