I look at the moment that has been captured
The photograph
You laugh with the shyness of someone
Who is embarrassed by laughter
Fifteen years I've held you in my arms
To the rhythm of the last stolen record
Nothing remains in this piece of paper
Everything is alchemy
I see that it is the most truthful proof
That everything is a lie
Those faces no longer bear our names
They are two masks lost in the night
But, the music remains

I feel that the time that has passed
Has never been ours
Like when I try to remember
The thirst of our kisses
And that volcano of rebellious fires
That dragged our bodies into the abyss
I believe that you and I are no more
Than two strangers
Others, two strangers who in time
Have become murderers
Of those two children in the photograph
Who, embraced, dance through life
But, the music remains
