I stopped to rest)

(If I was looking for heaven

(Heaven is within oneself
And hell is there too)
(The soul writes its books
But no one reads them)
(Sometimes one walks
Between shadow and light)
(A smile on the face
And a cross in the heart)
(Look for heaven within yourself
You will find it there)
(But it's not easy to find
As there's much to fight)
(On lonely paths
I started walking)
(Outwardly seeking nothing
But inwardly, maybe)
