Fine as no one, pretty as the sun,
reigned for her looks in the ballroom.
Dancing a tango, our romance was born,
while the orchestra played these bars.
Four bars that cheered up
my sad heart

Milonga tango,

that put the charm between my arms.
Today, next to the warmth
of her tender love,
I buried the anguish of a failure.
