Today I want to feel it for myself
Today I want to know, I want to understand
Yesterday I rushed, then I slowed my pulse
I gave myself to love and felt it did me good

Today I want to feel, not depend
I’m free to do it, just let me be
Independent of what others think
I carry my own rhythm and I can be at peace
I don’t need anyone else to reach Jah
In myself, I have my temple to meditate
I don’t need to hear from those who should be quiet
I don’t need those who don’t know where they’re going

The man talks too much
The body feels there’s a force
If Jah knocks, then go and open the door
Or wait for someone else to do it and depend on them
I don’t need more than the plants
To connect to high vibrations
You walk a lot, but where are you going?
I may not know much, but I know when someone’s on the right track
Today I want to feel, I want to know
I’m not interested in yesterday’s speeches
Let me be, whatever I need to be
Because if I make a mistake, I’ll learn from the error
