Praised be you in the creatures
First the sun, up in the heights
Brightens the day, great splendor
Radiant image of you, Lord

Praised be you for sister moon
In the sky you created, it's your work
For the stars, clear and beautiful
You are the source of their brightness

Praised be you for brother wind
And for the clouds, the air, and the weather
And for the rain that falls on the ground
It gives us sustenance
God of creation

For sister water and its value
Precious and chaste, humble and good

For brother fire and its heat

Praised be you for sister earth
Mother who sustains and governs us
Produces fruits, gives us bread
