I opened my Bible to John 20
And I found Mary Magdalene crying by the King’s tomb
She lifts her head, wiping her tears, her eyes wide open
And where is the body of the Master? Hey, she saw two angels

And they asked her: Mary, why are you crying?
And she replied: It’s because there was the body of My Boy Jesus
But His body has disappeared
It’s gone, His body is no longer there

Then, Mary turns around, I believe, ready to leave
That’s when Yeshua appears and asks her: Mary, why are you crying?
Mary, why are you looking for Me? Mary, do Me a favor
Don’t look for Me among the dead, because I’m alive

Go and tell Your brothers
To start smiling, Mary
Tell them it’s not over yet
Say that I’ve conquered death

So, Mary, without wasting time, went
Running to the disciples, she hurried
And when she got there, she said: Everyone sit down
Because I’m going to tell you what happened
