The good shepherd gives his life for the sheep
His love is unlike
Any other that may exist
The good shepherd protects and cares for his flock
Never allows a stranger
To harm and leads them

Leading through the valleys
Of this life
Eyes attentive, his angels
Surround
His arms provide protection
Never broken and escorted with love

The pasture is green, where the sheep lie down
The master's voice speaks gently and advises
Come with me, I will deliver you from danger
I am the good shepherd

The good shepherd never rests
And launches in search
Afternoon passes, then comes
The dark night
That sheep neglected
And did not return

I am the good shepherd, who protects you
I help you, I release the bonds
If you are tired, I carry you

Listen to my voice, I am Jesus

The good shepherd has many others
Outside the fold
Risking to throw themselves
Into the abyss
Without a guide

When his voice is heard
Life is restored
