Porta Aberta

I wandered through this world without a roof
Spent my nights on a rough park bench
Without the warmth of a love to hold me
All the doors were shut tight against me

But God, who sees all and comforts us
Welcomed me in His sacred Temple
And besides offering me that charity

He changed my fate
My suffering came to an end
And my life was reborn

With the emblem of a cross
This door never closes
No complaints against it
It's the arms of Jesus

He showed me the right path
Today it’s my sweet nest
Once again, He gave me faith
