To get here, I shed many tears
Many sleepless nights, a high price I paid

I had many afflictions, but I overcame in prayers
In secret with God I spoke, in groans I poured out
Who wrote my story knows all about me
Every mistake, every success to get here

The God who knows me knows what I deserve

In my weaknesses, God takes care of me
Even my silence to Him is a cry
In all my steps, He is with me

God has already written my story
He anointed me only for His praise
I may have a thousand flaws, but God loves me
I am more than a conqueror

I was chosen and anointed by my Lord
I am protected and loved by my Creator
I am an instrument used in the hands of the living God
And at every moment, He is with me
And with Him, I will go to the end
For only He knows all about me
