Sea And Sky

You have me, but it's worth nothing to you
I'm yours because a paper dictates it;
My life is controlled by laws,
But in my heart
Which is the one that feels love
I am the only one in charge.

The sea and the sky
Look equally blue
And in the distance
It seems like they merge.

It's better to remember
That the sky is always sky,
That never, never, never
Will the sea reach it;
Allow me to be equal to the sky
