The Ivy

Since that yesterday passed
so many years,
left in its gray flow
a thousand disappointments.

But when I want to remember
our past,
I feel you like the ivy
bound to me,
and so until eternity

calling you with my song;
stronger than the pain
our love clings
like the ivy.
