Desperta Ó Igreja

Awake, O church, to rise on that day when Jesus comes
To fetch his church as he promised
And the saved will not be left behind but will go to heaven with Jesus
In that country, in the mansion of the Savior

And the saved believers who have the renewal, in their souls sing a new hymn
Because Jesus will come back again
Among the dead will rise, and Christ will snatch the saved
Eternally they will dwell in heaven with Jesus

Awake, O church, it's time, this is the last hour
That the master will return, on this day when the sun darkens, the daylight does not appear
And the moon turns to blood
