Mi Libertad

One night I hung from the stars
and that same night I wanted to fly
surpass my doubts and my boundaries
throw myself into the arena of my truth

They asked me so much not to leave
and although I was about to give up
with a guitar as my flag
and a bunch of dreams to achieve

I went out to fight my war
I went out to find out who I was

And I arrived at the land of good and evil
where loneliness awaited me
where nobody wants to be left behind, nor outside

And I swallowed dust from stumbling
and closed my eyes to not cry
to not let my will go away

And that's how I found
my freedom
the melody that was hidden
between my dreams and my truth

And that's how I found my freedom
the one I carried within myself
the one I lost a long time ago out there.
