I want to walk in the hills
feeling the little arrows of the grass on the ground
to have my feet marked by the field,
to become more tanned than the summer sun.
To write verses,
to sing the beauties of this unparalleled nature
and show to those who want to see
the place to live without crying.

It's my Rio Grande do Sul,
Sky, Sun, South, Land and Color
Where everything that is planted grows
and what flourishes the most is love.
I want to bathe in the springs
and look at horizons with God
and feel that the native songs
continue alive for my children.
To see the fields blooming and
children smiling and happy singing,
and show to those who want to see
the place to live without crying
