To the old hospital for dolls
Came poor Pinocchio, badly hurt
A cruel bandit scarecrow
Caught him sleeping and attacked
He arrived with his nose in pieces
One leg shattered in three parts
An internal injury, delicate
That the on-call doctor ignored
