Y No Los Veo
Tony Aguirre
And I Don't See Them
With a hell of a lot of drive, I dove into studying to be a better person
But that backpack weighed heavy on my shoulders
And why go to school if I was always hanging with the crowd
Anyway, one day I didn’t see her
On the street, I learned more things
I’m still the same guy, but now I’ve got cash in my pocket
Used to ride a bike, now they see me cruising in a big-ass truck
I still like beer more than anything
I’m old school, and if I drink, my crew drinks too
If I party for two days straight, I’ll light it up again for the hangover
The student today is a better person
And I don’t see them, I didn’t see them, I don’t see them around here
Where are those who never believed in me?
Where are they? They’re not at my level anymore
They got left behind
And I don’t see them, they’re not here, I don’t see them, I lost them
Where are those who never believed in me?
Where are they? They’re not at my level anymore
They got left behind
We’re still the same, even though the girls’ rubber bands are popping
In the glove compartment, I’ve got the charm that protects and watches over me
I don’t want anyone here who ran away, who bet against me in my journey
That I’d never know the crown
I’m so proud of the kid who dreamed of what he’s living today
Because he hasn’t stopped working, the perfect example to motivate others
Not everyone wants to see you do well, because with money, they turn into ***
There are plenty of flies to come around
And I don’t see them, I didn’t see them, I don’t see them around here
Where are those who never believed in me?
Where are they? They’re not at my level anymore
They got left behind
And I don’t see them, they’re not here, I don’t see them, I lost them
Where are those who once doubted me?
Where are they? They’re not at my level anymore
They got left behind
