I already know the steps of this road
I know it will lead to nothing

With the same sad, old facts
That in a photo album
I stubbornly collect

There I go again like a fool
Looking for the sorrow
That I'm tired of knowing
New sad days, clear nights
Verses, letters, my dear
I still come back to write to you
To tell you that this is a sin
I carry my chest so marked
With memories of the past and you know the reason
I will collect another sonnet
Another portrait in black and white
