The Rapture
She ascended, now in despair humanity cries
But the beloved church is in the city
That Jesus prepared for her

Where is that people who cried out?
Bringing peace to the nations, helping the multitudes
Where is that people who spoke of Jesus?
Who preached forgiveness and love to the oppressed sinner
Where is the salt, the light of the earth?
The chosen bride to dwell in heaven
The one who said that God is faithful, who was ready to rise

But here, now, I hear a groan
From those who mocked, never listened
The Comforter has been taken from the earth
The weeping I hear now is of pain
There’s no more time for repentance
Jesus took the church, it was the rapture
Where is that noisy people?
Where are they, that no brother can be seen?
Someone with a voice of lament will say at this moment
That people has gone to Zion
She ascended, in the blink of an eye, it happened
The redeemed people disappeared
They will sing a new song
Now with the angels, they praise in Zion

She ascended, to dwell forever in eternity
Next to Jesus, her priority
For Him, she prepared herself
