From Spain Christ came to us
But also the boss
The boss just like Christ
To the black man...... Crucified
Over the sea of my blood
A brave bull arrived
Charging came the bull
Came dancing minuet
Came shaking its horns
Two horns bigger than it.
With blood from four centuries
I forged a red flag
And in my own way I waved it
The bull that was the owner
Of my land and my skin
Knew that stolen honeycomb
Brings tears instead of honey
And sailing to Spain
Over the sea of its blood
The brave bull went away...
