A Flor e o Jardineiro

I let God take care of me
Plant in my garden
Decorate my soul
I was a flower without beauty
And He gently nurtured me and gave me life

Gave me to drink from the fountain's water
Made me understand that with Him I'm strong
The wind blew and I didn't die here
Soon the Sun shone and I then bloomed
My gardener always looked out for me
I survived

I'm okay, I'm standing tall
I suffered, but I didn't lose my faith
I'm okay, I'm right here
It was tough, but I didn't give up

I didn't let hope die
I waited, 'cause I knew God was coming to rescue me
