Soy Un Cometa

They say I have no direction
That I am a distraction
It's a silly reaction

Still, I have reached the edge
Now everything is so clear
I await my destiny

This sidereal life is all I've known
The stars and space dust are my only home

But I'm just beginning to sing
Thousands of voices will call me
And in my heart I'll know the sorrow will be worth it
And as I see my records depart
And they ask for signed photos from me
I know my life is not easy but it's the one I want to live
But I'm just beginning to sing
The universe will say my name
And I'll know deep inside my fear won't exist
And in my hair the solar wind
Shows me I still have much to give
Through this cold atmosphere my spirit will wander
