Great God of the high skies
Take my poor being
Sovereign, come reign
I don't want to rebel anymore
Eliminate everything in me
That resists your actions
Your love has already bought me

My sin blinded me
I couldn't hear your voice
Nor feel your love
Or the glories of your heaven
Life the Spirit gave me
The Word revealed
In Jesus' Gospel
I could have peace and life

Grant that I may depend
On your grace in my living

Come guard me from all evil
Only to you belongs the praise
In my actions and thoughts
