Um Sobrevivente

I know, someone looks at me
And thinks everything in my life was easy
That I had a golden cradle, royal blood, or was born in a palace
They don't know I've been betrayed and even humiliated by my brothers
They didn't see when I cried alone in the well, what a disappointment
But there was a plan from God and when God plans, it works out
It doesn't matter if they'll humiliate you, sell you as a slave, but God is near
Taking care of every detail of yours
Tomorrow

I learned that for everything there is a time
For everything under the sky
God allows pain and loss
But doesn't abandon the faithful servant
What you lived was a lesson and you learned
To sing in the future that you survived

I've been sold but I survived
I've been humiliated but I survived
I went through the desert, faced danger
But God was with me and I didn't give up
I've been persecuted but I survived
I've been condemned but I survived
Only God knows what I went through, what I cried
But look, here I am fighting, praising, worshiping God
I'm living everything He promised
A survivor who lives by faith
And for the Glory of the Lord is why I stand
