The Butterfly Cow had a calf
A cute little calf just like a baby
"Give him to me, Daddy!" say the kids when they see him born
And she hides him in the bushes that I don't know
The Butterfly Cow had a calf
The savanna offers to turn green again
The little streams bring him flowers at dawn
And she hides him in the bushes that I don't know
The Butterfly Cow had a calf
And the parakeets go and the hawk too
With local fruits right to the hut, for him
And Butterfly doesn't know what to do
