La Vergüenza

I have a table
That feeds me
That sometimes even has a party
But if I had
Just a mocking spider
In my pantry
I would have shame
What else!

I have shoes
I have a shirt
I have a hat
I even have laughter
But if I had
In my wardrobe
Only empty hangers
I would have shame

I have bills
Like from eighth grade
But that's how I travel
Happy to be traveling
Because for a trip
My legs are enough
I travel without luggage

More than one hand
In the dark comforts me
And more than one step
I feel walking with me
But if I didn't have
It doesn't matter, I know there are dead
Who light the way

I have cold light and sink
Cables, buttons almost human
But if it were, oh! My landscape
Only intense ruins would have shame
