The Dark Forest
A dark mist surrounds the treetops
The wind roars breaking the silence
The trees respond to it
With slow movements
The night always rules this forest
The stars watch attentively
In case someone enters
And loses their memories, forever
In the middle of a clearing
The Great Tree stands tall
Shining in white
From the center, to the sky, and beyond
Those who enter forget everything
And without realizing it, they reach the Great Tree
Now they are wandering bodies
Towards the Tree's light
And so roots grow on them
Leaves bark and wild flowers
They are a sea of ice souls
Dancing to the wind's tune, slowly
The forest remains hidden
As no one returns from it
The Great Tree with the moon
Occasionally, they illuminate it
Clouds laden with oblivion
Carry memories to other destinations
They leave loaded with dreams
To throw them with a crash into the sea.
