De Donde Crece La Palma

The dark sprout approaches
That spring brought
And the pure approaches
Of the most sincere doubt.

The vicious approach
Novelties that passed
And the things approach
That never came close.

The rare seed breaks
That haste and innocence
Painted wonderfully
Coloring imprudence.

The first fruit appears
With an unexpected flavor
And instead of spitting, I enjoy:
My palate widened.

What is living if not falling
To rise later
And knowing how to recognize
In the slowest of fires.

I am a sincere man
From where the palm tree grows
And before I die, I want
To cast my soulful verses.
