Mais Uma Vez

Once again, I saw my eyes immersed in tears for my loneliness
Once again, I was judged by men who do not use the power of compassion
Once again, I was betrayed by the one who claimed to be my friend
But the pain and anguish I had in my troubled heart
Was exchanged for the hand of God that once again sheltered me

Once again, God lifted me from the mud
Once again, His love welcomed me
Once again, I was treated as a son and He received me
Once again, He healed the wound
Once again, He wiped away my tears
Once again, He reached out His hand
And lifted me from the ground

Once again, on my knees I sought your presence, your help my Lord
Once again, I did everything to hear your voice in the time of my cry
