I was that nobody in Lo-Debar
My dad was supposed to be king, but he died
And I was left alone, with nowhere to go
Then someone in Lo-Debar took me in
My feet bear the scars of what went down (of what went down)
They got all messed up like my dreams did
I was born to be an heir, but that never happened
I lived like a beggar, a peasant
But my story's not gonna end like this
I didn’t know the King cared for me
And it changed, oh how it changed
Once again, hope was reborn
And it changed, oh how it changed
The King gave back what was mine
People see me and can’t believe it’s me
I suffered, but I overcame, here I am
