Faith is the solid foundation of what I can't see
It's the certainty that despite the big fight, I will win
It's the conviction that the promises will come true, will come true
Faith is my safe harbor in moments of disappointment
It's the courage to start over in disillusionment
It's the greatest proof that I'm alive and I won't give up

Faith was what made Abraham a friend of the great Lord
It helped Joseph pass the test and become governor
And it pushed David when he took down the giant
Faith was what sustained Moses in front of the people of Israel
It lifted Joshua and kept him faithful
It's by faith that the believer prays and makes God move the heavens

It's by faith that this wall in front of you will have to fall today
And this strong storm will come to an end
It's by faith that the closed door will open today
It's by faith! Be sure that you'll rise from the valley
That the raging sea will calm down today, you will move on
It's by faith that you can believe that God will act

It's by faith that it will happen
Brother, it's by faith that you will win
