Mansões Celestiais

He came down from the heavenly realms because of my sins
And sat on the defendant's bench for my wrongs
He cried many times here in this valley of tears
Because he saw indifference on many faces
He shed blood in the garden for me
Left a trail of blood on Golgotha
And climbed up on the cross where he was crucified

I give glory to God, for I am redeemed by my Christ
I am already an heir to the life He won
Victorious one day over death, with Him I will be
In an incorruptible body, I will be transformed

Among the rich, He was buried for my sins
A large stone sealed the tomb tight
The Holy body of my beloved Master was well guarded
It was the beginning of the third day when men from heaven
Moved that massive stone
And my Christ rose up victorious
And that's why my soul sings: Hallelujah!
