Lord Jesus
Until I get used to the weight of this cross
Shining on my face is Your light
I will face many battles

I want to learn
To be just a servant and obey You
And if I must, for Your love, die
Or be a living example of power

I want to learn
To love like I love myself, those who hate me
To use my hands to bless
To have eternal communion with You
To offer
My own life as a sacrifice
And in this way, I will overcome every obstacle
I want to learn, Lord, to be clay in Your hands

To offer
The other cheek to whoever slaps me
To commit to Your truth
And let me not live, but Christ live in me
